Consistent attendance leads to better progress, stronger friendships and better levels of well-being

Parents/carers must:

Contact the school promptly on the first morning of every absence

Call 01633 624170 and leave a message or report the absence on GroupEd

Report a reason for their child's absence (unwell does not give enough detail and will not be authorised)

We believe that education is a partnership.  We will do everything we can to support families and to ensure their children attend school on time.  Parents/carers also have a legal duty to do this.  To help you can:

• Promote positive attendance at home
• Call the school to speak to Tina Goodland, our Family Liaison Officer, if you require any support
• Support the school in ensuring that your child arrives promptly at school every morning
• Make every effort to arrange medical appointments outside of school hours
• Provide us with proof of appointments when they are made during school time
• Praise and reward your child's achievements at school
