Integrated Children’s Centre's (ICC) are based on the concept of providing an integrated service to secure good outcomes for children and their parents and thus ensure the best possible start in life.

Services provided at Cwmbran ICC:
- Flying Start services for South West Cwmbran are delivered at the centre, these include:
Antenatal Support
Parenting Programmes: Incredible Years and Family Links Nurturing Programme
Early Language Development Support
Health Clinics
Breast Feeding Support Group
Postnatal Depression support group
- Families First Early Years team are based at the centre. The Families First Early Years strand provides intensive preventative support in the antenatal and early post natal period with a bespoke package of support focusing on breastfeeding, attachment, postnatal depression, and parenting. Support is also available for families with a child aged 0-10 years around school readiness and healthy lifestyles.
- Little Red Berries Playgroup – They offer Flying Start Childcare and a wrap around service to Nant Celyn Nursery. The Playgroup provides a morning or afternoon session and is registered with CSSIW for 48 places. For more information contact: 01633 647416
- Nant Celyn LA Nursery provision, mornings and afternoon’s places. Offers 52 education places.
- C4Kids After School Provision provide after school childcare at the centre during term time. This service is registered for 24 places.
- Open Access Play – Torfaen Play Service run provision at the centre twice a week.
- Workforce Development provides training advice on current qualification requirements needed for Childcare roles. Workforce Development also offers essential training for current childcare workers such a Paediatric First Aid and Safeguarding of Children. At present Coleg Gwent delivers the Diploma for Children’s Care and Learning at the centre two evenings a week, Level 2 and Level 3.
- Play Therapy sessions for Key Stage 2. Referrals to this service are made by the child’s school, GP or parents.
- Torfaen Family Information Service provide free, quality, accessible and impartial information and guidance on the full range of childcare, services, activities and resources, led by the needs of children, young people and their families, carers, employers, professionals, Local and National Government and their agencies. The team are based at the centre.
- Torfaen Social Services, the Children and Family team book rooms in the centre for supervised contact.
