At Nant Celyn Primary School we take safeguarding seriously, it is the single most important consideration of all of its staff members and visitors. We work together to ensure that every member of the community is safe and therefore able to thrive in a nurturing environment where barriers to learning and engagement are removed.
Our pastoral care reaches the highest standard. All of our children have a class teacher and a Phase Lead offering information, advice and guidance throughout their time with us. This is complemented by a dedicated safeguarding team, Thrive Practitioners, a Family Liaison Officer (FLO), a Play Therapist and our continued work with external agencies.
We believe in educating our children and community members in the best ways to keep safe and work tirelessly to ensure that our provision is current, robust and supportive.
Our Safeguarding Team is led by Ms. K Smith
If you are ever concerned about the safety of yourself or another child please refer this to the school’s safeguarding team through the staff members below. Your concerns will be taken seriously and may require a follow-up conversation.
